DMCA Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
1. Overview
Honeymilk Spinners (the "Site"), operated by Contact Info Pending — see docs/LEGAL-COMPLIANCE-OWNER-ACTIONS.md, respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
2. Important: Secondary-Producer Notice
The Site primarily curates and links to content created by third-party studios, performers, and creator platforms. Where the material you are concerned about is hosted on a third-party platform (and only embedded, linked to, or routed from this Site), the most direct path to removal is to send your DMCA notice to that third party. We will, in parallel, remove or disable any related listing on this Site upon receipt of a valid notice.
3. How to Submit a DMCA Notice
To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, for multiple works, a representative list).
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it (the URL on this Site is preferred).
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A good-faith statement that you believe the use complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).
False claims:Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
4. Designated DMCA Agent
Send DMCA notices to our designated DMCA agent:

Email: Contact Info Pending — see docs/LEGAL-COMPLIANCE-OWNER-ACTIONS.md
Subject Line:"DMCA Takedown Notice"
Mailing Address: Contact Info Pending — see docs/LEGAL-COMPLIANCE-OWNER-ACTIONS.md
Email is the fastest channel and is preferred. We acknowledge valid notices in writing.
5. Our Response
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice we will:
- Remove or disable access to the listing or media on this Site that is identified in the notice.
- Where the underlying media is hosted by a third party, forward the notice (or instruct you to forward it) to that third party.
- Make a reasonable effort to notify any user account associated with the affected listing.
- Maintain a record of the notice and our response for audit purposes.
6. Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed in error or that you are authorized to use the material, you may submit a counter-notice to the DMCA agent listed above. A counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which Honeymilk Spinners may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
If we do not receive notice of a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed material.
7. Repeat Infringer Policy
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts and listings of users or partners who are deemed to be repeat copyright infringers.
8. Performer-Specific Removal
If you are a performer requesting removal of content depicting you (rather than asserting a copyright claim), please use the 2257 Statement contact path instead — it is faster and does not require a copyright claim.
